I can't help it, I'm extremely addicted...

to CHRISTMAS! Jim and I have been spring cleaning in the winter. I've wanted to punch him in the face only 6 times which is not bad considering we've been cleaning, organizing, putting up new blinds and hooks everywhere...TOGETHER.

Have you ever seen Mine, Yours, and Ours? That's us. I'm free spirited and he's all military. Everything has to be ship shape! Staying up until 10:30 pm (last night!) is not my idea of fun. We've been going on doing this for eight days straight. I'M TIRED.

All this does have a point. We're making room for my Christmas decorations. I hoard them. At least they're in a storage building. My main obsession: snowmen. I can't get enough of them. When I go to unpack them I'll have to photo them and show you what I'm talking about. But, I still need more. I really neeeeeed them. It's truly sick.

I see that my comments have taken a downward spiral. That makes me grumpy too. Where did all my people go? I know I've been depressing but dayum! All you bloggers know you love comments. I do too.

Anyhoo, tonight I'm going to try not to punch Jim in the face. That's my main focus (other than cleaning and taking care of children). If he starts getting bossy on how to "properly" use a hammer to get a screw started I'll tell him where to stick that hammer with a smile on my face ;)

Dude, I've been depressing too. I haven't had anything worth saying in MONTHS. xoxo

I love Christmas! My mom loves to collect Santas and my sister collects snowmen too. I love a beautiful tree.

Take care - Kellan

Ex, I'm in a dry spell. I guess it happens to everyone. It's driving me crazy!

Kellan, I wait for Christmas all year. It really is my favorite time of the year.

I think we're all in a dry spell..I haven't even done your meme, that's how dry I am. But I have two evenings in a hotel in Plattsburgh NY so I ought to find a way to get it done :)

We do Christmas *and* Hanukkah and they are both overlapping this year. Nothing like latkes with your Christmas ham! But I'm getting excited!

Hanukkah sounds like such a nice tradition. I don't think I could handle two holidays at once.

What are latkes?

I suppose if you are going to be an addict, snowmen are not too bad. (unless that is code for another "snow" addiction...but I am sure you mean the one with carrot nose and twig arms)

I am obsessed with bottle brush Christmas tress. Pink, silver, green..can not get enough.

Deck the halls, damn it!

OK, I am not obsessed with TRESS....but rather, TREES. I am sure you could have figured that one out on your own, but I thought it would be nice to bulk up your comments!

Thanks Laura, you're a true friend.

What the hell are bottle brush trees? Damn it indeed :)

VUBOQ prefers to get a screw started with a kiss ... or a backrub. A hammer sounds painful.

Oh vuboq, how I love your fabulous self. You always give the best advice.

*smooches* back at ya

Christmas has not been quite as over the top here since I went back to school but I'm with you, love it, love the decorations, love everything about it. This is my favorite time of the year. Husband. Hates. Christmas. Every year I have to give him the TALK about how I don't give a rats ass about how he feels, he is going to grin and fake it for the rest of us instead of being the wet blanket at every freaking party and get together. Or I will kill him.

Your new bloggy decor is AWESOME!

I'm with you, if he messes with the Christmas he's dead meat. It's the most wonderful time of the year right?

I love Christmas too - mostly because of Christmas Eve at my fabulous Aunt Betty's house. It always involves lots of food, laughter, and, of course, booze! It's my favorite night of the year.

And I think that Jim and I would get along just dandy - a place for everything and everything in its place! Have a great night and thanks for getting me revved up for the holidays!

I like everything to have its' place, believe me! It's living with a military sergeant. That is what makes it so much "fun".

Thanks for coming by Helen!
